Welcome to the fine month of August-where hot is an understatement and the heat is obviously barbequing some brain cells.
Up this month-two men who are rocking the town of Decatur and might consider becoming (shhh) a couple, a toy shopper (God, where do these people come from?) and a man who might dig the windmill in miniature golf a little TOO much….

Facts of Life Chivalrous Indians by DaHeap Hindu men of India pledge their lives and loyalty to their women in return for a bracelet made of cotton, silk, a colored material, or gold thread. The Hindu custom originated in ancient times when a Rajput princess is believed to have sought help by sending part of her silk bracelet to a Muslim emperor in Delhi. After aiding her, the emperor kept her bracelet as a token of loyalty between them. The deed is celebrated in the Rakhi Festival, which takes place in the Indian month of Sravana in July and August. |
