"Devarian Exile is a sexy, seductive and romantic science fiction tale that I could not put down. Soleyla is a character I fell in love with at the beginning of the story. She is powerful, intelligent, courageous and tender especially to her pleasure-slave Kantou. Soleyla desires Kantou even though he is a mere slave. Their relationship is quite unique which is unheard of in Soleyla's female dominance society. I found my heart going out to Kantou whose fears were justifiable. His relationship to Soleyla helped to break down those fears, which eventually brought him closer to her. Rolen is a character surrounded in mystery. The similarities that Soleyla and Rolen have are that they both come from dominant society; females rule from Soleyla's society and males rule from Rolen's society. This presents an interesting connection between the two because they cannot comprehend each other's opposite society, especially Rolen who sees Kantou, a male, being enslaved to a female. I thought this to be an interesting concept because Soleyla and Rolen are equal in everyway. I found the sex scenes between the three of them quite stimulating and erotically hot that toys are must. Soleyla is one lucky heroine to have an obedient submissive Kantou and a dominant Rolen at her side. The tastefully done BDSM, masturbation and ménage was a definite turn on. I enjoyed the fascinating storyline which included a sword fight between Soleyla and Rolen, and a memorable scene where Soleyla chooses Kantou as her pleasure-slave. Oh damn that was hot! Ms. Dafoe has created an intriguing and entertaining beginning to the Devarian Series. I look forward to reading the next installment Devarian Uprising. More please!" - Tallyn Porter
