As for Finn, he's confused but a little refreshed by Sofie's professionalism, even if it's damn frustrating that the first woman he's really wanted in years doesn't want him back. There is one thing that doesn't add up, however. For someone who doesn't believe in the paranormal, she goes to extraordinary lengths to avoid full moons, silver, and any mention of lone wolves…
Well, after reading Cat Marsters' Paranormal Mates Society book, Playing With Matches, I knew I wanted to read more of her work and as I perused my library I couldn't stop myself from opening this book up. I'm so glad I did.
From the first page Ms. Marsters drew me in and had me wrapped up with her characters. Finn is engaging and "watching" him with his antics had me smiling and laughing in delight. Sofie's reservations and more serious manner were a perfect foil for some of Finn's lightheartedness. I'm a sucker for paranormal stories and Ms. Marsters has combined some of my favorite elements within these pages. It was a very satisfying story full of plenty of action, both of the adventure variety and the bedroom variety.
As I was reading I couldn't help but fire up the Changeling Press site and check out what else Ms. Marsters has to offer and compare character names with some of who I was meeting. I can't tell you how happy I am to see that this world she has created is visited in many of her books. I'm very much looking forward to jumping back in to Ms. Marsters created world.
