Fiona Jayde is going to lead a workshop on Fight Scenes on Dec 11th at Erotic Romance Workshop With erotic romance spanning various genres, fight scenes– be it swords, or fists or laser blasts - speed up the action on the pages. Like lovemaking, a fight scene presents similar challenges to the author – depicting simultaneous action in a sequence of phrases, pacing, verbiage, and, well, “punch”. This workshop will present butt kicking and still feminine heroines, various ways to hurt a body (if you REALLY have to) and the little known fact rarely depicted on the silver screen - that when one punches something really hard, one’s knuckles really hurt. The Worst Christmas Card During the 1969 Yuletide season, the Palestinian terrorist organization, El Fatah, issued a series of colorful Christmas cards depicting a group of gentle wide-eyed children- one with a submachine gun slung over his shoulder. Sales of the cards in Lebanon and abroad netted El Fatah $100,000 in revenues, which went toward the purchase of arms.
