Lupercalian Feast

by Silvia Violet

From Changeling Press site:
When Julianne retreats to her family's mountain cabin to spend Valentine's weekend alone, she never expects to meet the men of her dreams, and she certainly doesn't expect them to be satyrs.

Strange noises wake her in the night and draw her into the woods to investigate. She arrives at a clearing and finds an orgy in full swing. Human women and satyrs are vigorously celebrating the ancient Roman feast of Lupercalia. Before she can recover from the shock, two sexy satyrs inform her that she is their partner for the night and they are prepared to fulfill her wickedest fantasy.

Valentine's Day is almost upon us again and I definitely want to be in the mood for it so I went looking for a Valentine's Day themed story from Changeling Press I hadn't read yet. Yes, I know almost any of Changeling Press' offerings would get my motor revving but 'tis the season and all that. Silvia Violet's Lupercalian Feast looked like it would be right up my alley. After all, the blurb promised me a ménage with paranormal partners - what's not to like?

Wow! Ms. Violet sure packed a punch with her Valentine's themed hot flash. Julianne's character was a fun one to get to know and I found myself really liking her. Ms. Violet did a great job of writing her as a strong woman who acknowledged her own needs and who knew how to go about satisfying them.

The scene as she finds the orgy in full swing was a wonderful aperitif to the coming feast for her (and the reader) when her two satyrs fulfill her desires. Thank you, Ms. Violet, for creating such a delightful tale.
