From Changeling Press site: Her big break! It just might be Yahara's chance of getting one of her ads in a high paying fashion magazine. She's more than willing to trade her Manolos for hiking boots. |
Kauri does not like humans. They are selfish, self-centered, and careless. They care nothing about the world that is their home. But he must mate. And with a human. Once his gaze catches sight of the tall, dark-skinned full figured woman that is Yahara, he decides humans aren't so bad.
His big break!
Now, if he could just get her to stop threatening to burn down his forest whenever he makes her angry... He just might have to pull out the whips, chains, and handcuffs for Yahara.
My reader recommendation:
I love the concept of one of Changeling Press's newest multi-author series, Big, Blooming & Wild. I've read a few books in this series now and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I love the multi-author series and the chances they give me to try new authors that have been grouped together
. I picked up Tuesday Morrigan's contribution to the Big, Blooming & Wild series partly because my aim is to read all of the books in the series and also because I've read some other stories by Ms. Morrigan and I've found her stories to be wonderful insights into her creative mind.
I thought this story was another great addition to the Big, Blooming & Wild series. When I had picked it out I was interested in seeing just how Kauri would go about persuading Yahara that perhaps nature wasn't so bad after all. I found myself loving Kauri's inventive ways to have her appreciating the great outdoors.
I really enjoyed the story and I'm very happy that Ms. Morrigan added her own creativity into this series.
