![]() | Soundwave's Surrender
by Leila Brown
From Changeling Press site: General Pane has a score of his own to settle. After all, it's Soundwave's fault he's being hunted. He's lost his job, his identity, and if he's not careful his life could be next. With Soundwave firmly in his grasp, he'll stop at nothing to make her pay. Even if he has to tie her up and gag her. |
Recommendation:
I was looking for a new author to try out and when I saw Leila Brown's Soundwave's Surrender I knew I had to grab it. Not only is the cover lovely to look at, but the blurb caught me too – I'm always up for something different and I like knowing right off the bat that an author is going to treat me with a world that is definitely her own.
What a world she's created! Ms. Brown's story kept my full attention and I loved the sense of history between these two characters. The characters are so unique and I thought Ms. Brown did a good job of giving readers a chance to get to know them and their motivations. I also enjoyed getting a chance to see examples of just how powerful these characters are, and how powerful the attraction between them is. I thought Ms. Brown's imagination really came through with the creation of these characters and in particular with General Pane and his exceptional abilities.
