 | INTERVIEW WITH BJ MCCALL
BJ, what drew you to Changeling Press as an author? B.J.: I was writing for another e-publishing house and my editor left to join a new company called Changeling Press. That editor was Sheri Ross Fogarty. She asked me to submit and I was strongly encouraged by my friend and fellow writer, Kate Douglas. I wanted to work with Sheri again so I submitted a sci-fi cop story. Twenty-five books later, I still enjoy working with her. When did you first publish with Changeling Press and what was your first CP title? B.J.: My first title with Changeling was Cosmic Cops: Dark Ecstasy in 2005. What have you enjoyed most about working with this company? B.J.: The owners and the staff are great. They are professional, yet friendly. I don’t feel lost in the heard. |
What's your favorite CP title?
B.J.: Picking a favorite book is like choosing which child you like best. But if I have to choose I guess I would pick Lycaon Moon, book one of the Lunar Eclipse Collection, because it was my first werewolf book. I loved the genre so much I have written nine more Changeling titles with werewolf heroes or heroines.
What do you like most about Changeling Press as a reader?
B.J.: Great stories. I’m always impressed by my fellow Changeling authors.
What can we look forward to soon at CP from B.J. McCall?
B.J.: Moonlust, my upcoming Changeling March release, is a werewolf tale with a twist of suspense. Moonstruck will follow.
