Writing With Wings

I live near the beach and enjoy sitting on a bench watching gulls, terns, cormorants and pelicans. Sometimes a dog's life is just plain good. It's been damp and rainy since Christmas which is not normal for here. The author says we're having a Coastal winter. I think that means the weather is never any good for cross country skiing.
