The Conjuring 2
Directors: James Wan
Starring: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Madison Wolfe, Frances O'Connor and more...

Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to London to save a family in what would be known as the case of the Enfield Poltergeist. Based on a true story.

Our movie starts with the famous couple investigating the Amityville Horror case, conducting a session in the home where the infamous DeFeo murders took place followed by the haunting of the Lutz family. An evil presence, taking the form of a demonic nun, makes itself known to Lorraine, threatening her with a great loss. It was a tramautic experience that sets the stage for the case in England.

In 1977 London, a single mother and her four children are experiencing events that can't be explained. As the paranormal activity escalates, centering around the younger daughter Janet, the media brings attention and eventually the Catholic church in to assist the family. The church asks Ed and Lorraine to investigate on its behalf to determine if help can be offered.

I really can't tell you anything else without ruining the film for you. What I can tell you is that if you are a fan of the first movie in this franchise, you will love this film. In this reviewer's opinion, this film is slightly better than the original (and the original film was amazing!). It has everything horror fans expect of a James Wan film, tight script, perfect pace, wonderful acting, and a plethora of jump scares. There are other dark moments that will linger with you long after the film is over.

The film is 134 minutes long and over way too fast. It's rated R for many scares, mild violence, demonic images, supernatural activity. It's warranted. Definitely not a film for the younger set. Definitely a film for the true horror fan. You don't want to miss this one!
